We live in the world every day. We eat food, drink water, wear clothes, watch TV,use computers and so on. We are producing waste every moment.Generally speaking, there are four sorts of waste. They arematerial waste, organic waste, inorganic waste and poisonous & harmful waste. Now, we are going to talk about each sort ofwaste one by one.Material waste: it means the waste of substance or things from which something else can be made. Forexample, people throw away the used metal products and buy a new one, so the old metal waste accumulates.

At last, theybecome waste. For example, when people finish reading newspaper, the paper will become waste. When the glass is broken, italso becomes waste. Nobody wants to use a broken window or drink with a broken glass or wear a pair of broken glasses. Onceit is broken, it becomes waste. The rate of using plastics is increasing day by day. People use plastic bags because they areconvenient. When they get home, they throw the plastics way, paying no attention to the environment. The more convenienceplastics brings to us, the more plastic waste is produced. This is called “white pollution” as most plastics are white.Some of our products we use every day are made of rubber, just like the tyres and the bottom part of our shoes. It’s truethat rubber plays an important role in our life. However, it also brings us some trouble when it has been used for a longtime and becomes old. The old tyres become waste because it can’t break down by nature. This is really a big problem.Organic waste: it refers to waste from living things, including waste from animals, plants and people. Some parts ofvegetables are thrown away as waste because they don’t taste good. In the past, people cooked their food using burning coal,so there left the burned coal, which is useless, like the thrown vegetables. All this sorts of waste contain organism, so itis called organic waste.Actually, we also have inorganic waste, the opposite to organic waste, including building waste,broken pottery and china, and cinder.The last part is harmful and poisonous waste, such as used batteries, electricalapparatus and medical supplies. Computers and TV sets are one part of electrical apparatus.

You see, the old electricalapparatus can set off some dangerous rays and make the soil harder, even damage the under ground water. Mobile phones are asdangerous as computers and TV sets. As we know, X-rays can be used to examine patients, but the X-rays machines are dangerouswhen they are thrown away without any treatment. They can’t be used to treat the sick, but they still can give off rays. Forthe normal people, they can be dangerous. So, we must think about this problem. As waste has four sorts, we can sort theminto each sort that they belong to. It’s convenient to treat them after they are sorted. Then we can deal with them sort bysort. We have thought out some methods like storing them in order to change them into plant food, or burning them in a hugestove and use the heat to make electricity. For the first way, the change rate is much too low and it may pollute the underground water. For the second one, of course it’s wonderful if it’s easy to be tried out. But to build such a huge stovewill cost too much. Not a good method. Now you see, treating waste is not an easy job.

Pirated products are challenging some industries, because pirated products not only much cheaper in price but also damage the copyright. As the pirated products are cheap, so the products’ quality is not good, people spend money to get the bad one.

What’s more, as more people buy the pirated products, it will have negative effect on the original products which have the copyright.

The manufacturers will loss the profit and don’t have the enthusiasm to produce the good products.

People should have the consciousness to support the genius products, at the same time, more stricter laws and regulations should be carried out to punished the one who sells the pirated products. I believe this problem will be solved gradually.

When We Get Angry

How to control emotion is always the tough question to be solved. When people are angry, it is easy for them to lose control and speak ill words to others, even to the ones that they love. Impulse brings endless regret. When they clear their minds, they feel so sorry to bring hurt to the ones they love. Friendship and family love are under threatened. For the one who is a moody person, he may lose them both. It is not a wise choice to release emotion when we are angry. The better choice is to walk away and keep silent, no matter how much we want to shout at others, cause we will be regretful for what we say. When we calm down, the problem seems not that serious. We feel lucky not to do the impulsive behavior.

摘 要:高中英语作文是集听、说、读、写为一体的表现形式,是对英语综合能力掌握情况的一项评价标准,可以测试学生对英语单词、语法、语言逻辑关系以及固定语言习惯的掌握情况,在高考中英语作文也是占据比较大的比例。因此,教师一定要重视英语的写作教学,不仅要重视学生的学习情况,也要重视教学的方法。根据大量的教学实践研究,总结出一种综合教学法——过程样类法。这种教学方法就是在课堂上学生的写作过程中,进行及时的引导,并且给予相应的帮助,有效地提高学生的实际写作能力。

关键词:过程样类法;高中英语;作文课堂

无论是对于学生还是教师而言,英语写作都是一个重点、难点问题。怎样提高学生的写作能力,采取什么样的'教学方法才可以有效地促进学生写作能力的提升,是目前我们急需要解决的问题。而过程样类法就是一个非常好的教学法,它是集过程写作法、成果写作法以及样类写作法于一体的综合教学法。过程写作法有利于培养学生的写作技巧,成果写作法有利于教授一些语言知识,样类写作法有利于培养学生的语言交际能力。

一、过程样类法的概述

在教学的过程中应用过程样类法所发挥的作用主要体现在以下四个方面:

(1)有效地激发学生的学习兴趣。在写作之前,一定要积极鼓励学生的写作热情,让他们感觉出有话可写以及有情可抒。开展小组写作的方法,可以让学生意识到教师并不是自己文章的唯一读者,进而促使他们更认真地完成写作任务。与此同时,开展修改讨论活动,让学生在讨论的过程中,发现自己的进步,进而增强写作的信心。

(2)有助于增强学生的思维能力。学生可以依照教师与课本所提供的资料,进行积极的思考,主动的探索,将所获得的资料进一步的加以整理,写出自己的看法,让自己也有机会做一回“发现者”。

(3)有助于提高学生的自主能动性。开展一些写作小组的活动,采取以学生的交流学习为主、教师的指导为辅的教学方式。这样可以激发学生的主观能动性,进行自我认识、自我完善以及互相竞争的机制,在此过程中,提高了学习效果。

(4)有助于学生了解写作过程。因为这样的教学法注重的就是写作过程,这就要求学生一定要掌握文章写作的几个步骤,比如,写前准备、写草稿、修改、完稿等。这一系列的写作步骤可以保证学生的写作过程一直处于正确的轨道之上。

二、高中英语作文课堂中过程样类法的运用

1.写前阶段

写前阶段是写作过程中一个非常重要的环节,这一环节就是为了激活学生掌握的有关知识,激发学生的写作兴趣,提供写作教学的基础。比如,对“开卷考试对于学生而言是否有益”这一话题进行探讨,教师可以让学生围绕这一主题进行讨论,通过讨论的过程,吸引学生的注意力,最后让学生进行实际写作。除此之外,教师还可以为学生提供写作中可能会用到的固定搭配,比如,赞同的说法:think that,be for sth,be in favour of,believe in等,反对的说法:object to,argue with,be opposed to等。

2.打草稿阶段

在这个阶段是学生开始构思写作的过程,教师一定要针对学生的实际情况给予相应的帮助。并且这个阶段也是学生发挥自己想象力的时间,教师应适当地站在学生的角度进行问题的思考,这样才会给予学生最为恰当的意见与建议。除此之外,教师应当时刻关注学生的写作情况,一旦学生遇到一些自己解决不了的问题的时候,教师可以及时地给予指导以及帮助。比如,学生不知道“节省水”的英语表达,教师可以给予一定的帮助,告诉学生英语的表达是water saving,或者是用意译的方式更好,例如Much water can be save.的表达方式。

3.修改阶段

这一阶段主要是对初稿的修改,教师可以先让学生之间进行互相的检查,并且在检查的过程中,提醒学生需要注意的地方,比如,文章的连贯性、用词、语法等方面,并且要了解彼此文章的写作优点以及缺点,进而提高学生的写作能力。就以本节课的教学为例,教师一定要提醒学生检查对方文章是否符合总分总的写作结构,也就是首段提出开卷考试的现象,中间写出开卷考试的优点和缺点,末段表达自己的观点。除此之外,教师还要提醒学生注意语法的运用,找出错误并给予相应的修改意见。与此同时,教师还要倡导学生,找出文章中的好词、好句,积累并学会运用,进而提高自己的写作水平。

4.完稿阶段

在这个过程中,要求学生的文章观点一定要明确,叙述正确,并且积极采纳修改意见,追求新颖、连贯以及精湛的表达效果,尽可能完善自己的语言表达能力。与此同时,教师也要特别提醒学生一定要重视文章的书写规范,培养良好的写作习惯,完成之后,及时交到教师的手里,让教师进行相应的批改。

5.教师批改阶段

在学生写作的过程中,教师要时刻关注学生的写作情况,及时地发现学生在写作中存在的错误,并且进行相应的总结,在教学过程中加以强调,避免学生再发生类似的错误。在学生遇到问题的时候,教师可以及时地提供一些相应的指导。比如,学生写作文章的主题是否统一完整,文章的段落组织是否合理,段落之间是否存在着一些必然的联系。文体风格是否与要求的内容一致。俗话说得好“文章不厌百遍改”,也就是说一些好的文章均是通过多次的修改才确定的。所以,教师应当鼓励学生进行反复的文章修改,在修改的过程中巩固自己的知识,提升自己的写作能力。

综上所述,在高中英语作文课堂中运用过程样类法开展实际教学活动,根据实践经验显示:一方面,通过利用过程样类法的教学方式有效地干预高中英语作文课堂的教学,达到提高学生写作能力的目的。具体表现在学生对于基础知识、写作技巧以及不同体裁的写作能力的掌握程度,并且进一步提高这种掌握程度。另一方面,有助于学生改进写作态度、正确认识自己的写作能力以及增强自己的写作信心。与此同时,在课堂上学生及时地接受教师的指导,提高了自己的写作水平。
